Price
The price shown on the latest website is the actual valid price for the rent. Other special inquiries implement offers with special prices. These offers can only be confirmed by the management.
Reservation
Reservation is valid when 30% of the total amount have been credited to the business account of Hanggtime and the lessee has received a written confirmation of the rental period.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation the time period left until the beginning of the rental period is the decisive factor in order to stipulate the amount of repayment. The following rules are applicable:
- cancellation more than 4 weeks before the date booked (80% reimbursement of the amount already paid in)
- cancellation up to 4 weeks before the date booked (50% reimbursement of the amount already paid in
- cancellation less than 4 weeks before the dated booked (no reimbursement)
- In case the vehicle is returned earlier than confirmed, there will be no reimbursement by the lessor in no case.
Term of tenancy
Term of tenancy is the time of handing over of the vehicle until the reception of the vehicle at the rental station stipulated. If the stipulated term is exceeded each beginning hour is charged with €2.5. If the subsequent tenancy is put at risk due to delayed returning, the costs incurred will be charged accordingly.
Entitled driver
Entitled driver is the person named as lessee in the contract and who is in possession of a valid driving licence Class 3 or B. Minimum age is 23, other deviations herefrom must be confirmed by the management.
Form of payment
With the start of the tenancy the complete amount has to be paid. In addition, a deposit of 300€ has to be paid.
Behaviour in case of an accident
In case of an accident the lessor and the police have to be informed immediately. The lessee is not entitled to acknowledge any claims at the site of accident. Only standardized European accident reports may be filled in. The lessor only assures those contractual terms which are stipulated in the insurance package of the lessee. Costs incurred, such as cell phone fees, breakdown and cancellation costs and the like, will not be reimbursed by the lessor.
Liability of the lessee
The vehicle under contract may not be used for purposes other than those intended. Lending out of the vehicle to a third person is not permitted. Loose objects in the vehicle have to be fixed securely, damages incurred by unsecured objects have to be paid by the lessee. The lessee hast to assure himself of the correct function and technical acceptance test (TÜV, i. e. MOT certificate, gas function test). The lessee is fully liable for using devices which are not functioning correctly or show an expired acceptance date (which?) (MOT certificate, gas function test).
State of delivery
The vehicle is handed over in a clean state, with a completely filled-up tank and has to be returned in the same state. All vehicles are non-smoking vehicles: Smoking is not allowed. If the lessee wants to take along animals, this has to be previously clarified with the lessor. In case an animal is taken along with, any traces incurred, such as hair and other dirt, have to be removed before returning the vehicle. If the vehicles (?) are returned dirty, a flat rate of €50.-- for cleaning will be charged. Additional fees for the cleaning will be charged as follows:
- refrigerator 15 €
- upholstery 15 €
- toilet 20 €
All vehicles have to be returned with a filled-up tank. If the lessor has to fill-up the tank, an extra fee of 15€ will be charged. It is explicitly not allowed to places stickers at the vehicle.
Damages
If damages occur by improper use as well as burn holes, motor damages on account of too high speed or omitted check of oil, the deposit will be kept and the lessee will have to pay the costs incurred. In case of theft of the vehicle, the lessor has to be contacted immediately, the deposit will be withheld.
Articles for hire
Articles for hire, such as cutlery, bike racks, etc. have to be returned completely and in proper state. Costs for replacement will be charged to the lessee.
Liability of lessor
The lessor puts the vehicle at the lessee's disposal. It is handed over in a proper state at the time stipulated. In case of any failure the lessee will be reimbursed proportionally. There is no right for reimbursement.
Insurance
There is an insurance of the rental fleet. Detailed information are to be obtained directly from the lessor.
Costs
The lessee has to bear all costs incurred with the vehicle during the rental time, i. e. costs for gasoline, oil, tickets, tyres etc. The lessor bears all costs incurred with maintenance. In case of any mechanical failures, the lessor has to be contacted immediately in order to discuss further actions. Without prior agreement from the lessor, any costs incurred have to be borne by the lessee. Repairs which are carried out after agreement with the lessor will only be reimbursed by the lessor upon presentation of the original bill. Costs incurred for potential accommodations, rental cars etc. have to be insured in an extra insurance contract. Information hereto can be obtained from the lessor. If no insurance contract is made, costs incurred have to be borne by the lessee.
Place of jurisdiction
For all disputes Mainz will be place of jurisdiction.
